What is the job?

The Procurement Associate is responsible in purchasing day-to-day purchasing operations by processing orders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely procurement of goods and services. The role ensures purchasing workflows are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs.


Responsibilities:

• Supports the Purchasing Manager with daily purchasing operations and order management.

• Processes purchase orders and invoices using QuickBooks and internal systems.

• Coordinates with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Tracks and follows up on open purchase orders, communicating order status and shipping updates.

• Maintains accurate purchasing records, logs, and databases to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Adapts to changing priorities while ensuring purchasing activities meet quality and performance standards.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply-related role.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and QuickBooks or similar systems for purchasing and invoice processing.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and compliance with purchasing standards.

• Skilled in vendor coordination, basic negotiation, and maintaining professional relationships.

• Able to organize multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have stable employment history.
