We are currently looking for a Procurement Officer (Work from home | Night shift) to support our client based in the US.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and managing high-volume supply channels of recyclable plastic materials from US and global markets. The role requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent supply, pricing optimization, and smooth deal execution.


Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard reliable suppliers (recyclers, processors, manufacturers).

• Build and maintain consistent monthly supply pipelines.

• Conduct daily outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and volumes.

• Maintain long-term supplier relationships.

• Work with India-based sales team on deal execution and coordination.

• Share supply specs and details internally and externally.

• Respond to inbound inquiries and route leads to the sales team.

• Track all supplier activities and deals in Zoho CRM.

• Prepare weekly performance reports.

• Maintain a commercial, deal-oriented approach (hunter mindset).


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in supply sourcing, trading, procurement, or B2B sales.

• Comfortable with daily calls and deal discussions.

• Experience in commercial buy-and-sell trading; candidates from distribution, retail purchasing, commodity buying, or import/export industries are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in plastics/recycling/commodities is a plus.

• Experience with CRM tools preferred.
