Software Engineer

👋 We’re Attensi — a Norwegian-born tech company creating gamified simulation training for some of the world’s leading organisations.

Our solutions are used by global brands across 150+ countries and 50+ languages, helping people learn through realistic scenarios, decision-driven dialogues, gamification, and our own AI.

We’re now looking for a Full-stack Developer to help build the systems behind these learning experiences.

You’ll contribute across the stack; from backend services, CI/CD workflows, and cloud infrastructure to frontend features built with our internal design system. We value autonomy, ownership, and curiosity, and we’re looking for developers who enjoy learning, solving complex problems, and taking responsibility for the systems they build.

What you’ll work on

• Designing and building secure, scalable applications
• Deploying backend services to Kubernetes using GitOps and ArgoCD
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Working with technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD
• Contributing to frontend features using React and our internal design system
• Improving live production environments together with cross-functional teams

You don’t need to know everything. Strong fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to learn matter most.

We’re also curious and pragmatic about AI-assisted development. At Attensi, you’ll be able to use modern AI-enabled workflows as part of your day-to-day work, while still applying strong engineering judgement and taking ownership of the code you ship.

You probably have

• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with other languages like Python, Ruby, or C#
• A good understanding of system design, scalability, security, and engineering best practices
• Experience with, or interest in, frontend development using React
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience
