Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist with 5–12 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring effective HR processes, compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and people development initiatives aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Life Cycle Management

Manage the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment coordination, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processes.

Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires with proper documentation, induction programs, and stakeholder coordination.

Handle employee separations including resignations, exit interviews, final settlements, and knowledge transition.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in HRMS and physical files.

  • Leave & Attendance Management

Administer and monitor leave management systems (Casual, Sick, Earned, Maternity/Paternity, Comp-off, LOP, etc.).

Ensure correct leave policy implementation and adherence across the organization.

Track leave balances, approvals, lapses, and reports in coordination with payroll.

Address employee queries related to leave, attendance, and working hours policies.

  • Performance Management (360-Degree PMS)

Drive and manage 360-degree performance management systems across the organization.

Coordinate goal setting, mid-cycle reviews, annual appraisals, and feedback processes.

Work closely with leadership and managers to ensure fair, transparent, and objective performance evaluations.

Facilitate performance improvement plans (PIPs) and follow-ups.

Analyze performance data and share insights for talent development and succession planning.

  • HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies.

Coordinate payroll inputs, salary revisions, incentives, and variable pay processes.

Manage statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and other applicable regulations.

Support audits and ensure HR processes are audit-ready at all times.

Draft, review, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.

  • Employee Engagement & Culture Building

Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, motivation, and retention.

Organize employee events, festivals, team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.

Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and pulse checks; analyze feedback and recommend action plans.

Act as a bridge between management and employees to address concerns and improve workplace culture.

  • Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.

Promote a positive work environment based on trust, transparency, and respect.

Counsel employees and managers on HR policies, behavioural issues, and performance concerns.

  • Learning & Development Support

Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.

Support implementation of internal and external training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.

Track training effectiveness and maintain learning records.

  • HR Analytics & Reporting

Prepare and present HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics related to headcount, attrition, leave, performance, and engagement.

Use data-driven insights to support strategic HR decisions and workforce planning.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HR processes, labour laws, and compliance

Hands-on Experience With HRMS And Payroll Coordination

Proven expertise in employee lifecycle management & performance management systems (360-degree PMS)

Excellent Interpersonal, Communication, And Conflict-resolution Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism

Educational Qualification

MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Additional HR certifications will be an advantage
