Summary: As a Packaged Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or Software as a Service applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The position requires working with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives. - Mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize workflows. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and batch processing. - Experience with application configuration and release management. - Familiarity with integration techniques using standard tools and application programming interfaces. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability. - Proficient in utilizing low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
