The IT Associate is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the organizations information technology systems, medical equipment, and related infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include managing IT projects, implementing technology solutions, and evaluating new tools to improve operations. The IT Associate also monitors network and system performance, troubleshoots technical issues, and assists staff in using technology effectively. Additionally, the role involves defining technical requirements for system improvements and contributing to the organizations overall IT development.
IT Associate: responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure the regular maintenance and optimal performance of all IT hardware and systems.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of software licenses and organizational IT equipment to ensure accurate records and availability.
- As needed, assist other staff with special events and activities.
- Monitor and optimize the company assets, including data, performance, security, backup, and recovery.
- Liaise with the procurement team and service providers to ensure that technology purchases are efficient and cost-effective.
- Prepare and submit detailed IT project proposals, including pricing information, to the DCSO for review and approval to continuously improve the IT systems in place.
- Ensure a stable internet connection throughout the organization.
- Ensure continuous operation of the CCTV system and assist in retrieving and recording footage as authorized by DCSO.
- Remote or on-site IT support to the other branch in the absence of their assigned IT personnel.
- All other tasks that are assigned by the immediate head.
