* Arrange customer visits and presentations to promote the company’s transport and logistics services.
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
* Negotiate rates and service terms with customers.
2. Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
* Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational requirements and service expectations.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Market Research & Analysis
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market pricing.
* Identify new business opportunities and potential growth sectors.
* Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
4. Tender & Contract Management
* Source and participate in logistics tenders and RFQs.
* Prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation.
* Review contract terms and coordinate implementation with operations teams.
5. Revenue Growth
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
* Increase transport volume and fleet utilization.
* Promote additional services such as warehousing, distribution, project cargo, and dedicated fleet solutions.
6. Coordination with Operations Team
* Work closely with logistics coordinators and operations personnel to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Communicate customer requirements and special arrangements to operations teams.
* Monitor service performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
7. Reporting
* Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipelines.
* Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
* Present business development activities, sales forecasts, and market updates to management.
Preferred Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
* Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in transport or logistics.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Knowledge of trucking, container haulage, warehousing, and distribution services.
* Possess own transport and willingness to travel for customer visits.
