This is a senior leadership role for a commercially aware and technically strong risk professional who can build structure, improve controls, and strengthen decision-making across the trading business. The successful candidate will lead the overall risk framework while remaining close to the detail on client flow, fraud patterns, dealing oversight, and quantitative monitoring.

The role is suited to an established Head of Risk, but it may also fit a high-performing Risk Manager or Senior Specialist ready to step into a broader leadership position.

• Supervise bank reconciliations to be done by sub-regions.  Prepare treasury reports on cash position and liquidity for management review
• Improve treasury processes, controls, systems and automation where possible.
• Maintain relationships with banks, optimize bank accounts and be a single point of contact for Group Treasury.

Tax Management

• Lead regional tax compliance including corporate tax filings, drive GST/VAT filings and manage transfer pricing related documentation across Asia countries.
• Manage tax audits and establish relationships with external advisors/regulators.
• Monitor tax legislation changes, provide advisory to business units and effective tax rate planning.
• Single point of contact/tax advisor for regional controllers in Asia and for the Group tax department.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

You will manage the downstream operations, focusing on the interface between Malaysia warehouses (internal and external) and Customer Service to ensure seamless delivery execution.  

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

1. Operational Execution & Dispatch Planning

   • Manage daily order processing for dispatch planning to meet customers request date

   • Maintain Work Order (WO) processing and ensure accurate scheduling

   • Coordinate WIP transfer between plants or external warehouses to the Distribution Centre

   • Coordinate delivery from Third Party warehouse to customers on time

   • Dropshipment coordination to ensure orders and shipping documents are accurate and ready on time.

2. Delivery Monitoring & Backorder Management

   • Monitor and track the delivery schedule - identify and flag out potential delays

   • Perform backorder tracking, including the maintenance of reason codes and the development of proactive action plans

   • Manage and report on customers’ backlog to maintain service transparency 

   • Tracking goods return with transporter

3. Cross-functional Coordination

   • Coordinate Scheduled Shipment Dates (SSD) between Customer Service (CS) and the Inventory Specialist Team

   • Work closely with National Leaders in a hybrid model to ensure alignment across both national and regional fulfillment functions.

4. Reporting & Performance Analytics  

   • Generate & analyze Dispatch Reports to track operational efficiency 

   • Develop and maintain Customer Service scorecards and Customers Indent Shipment Reports

Preparation of designs and deliverables related to secondary electrical systems for transmission and distribution projects. The tasks may encompass, but are not limited to, the following, depending on project requirements and the design phase:

• Design of protection and control systems, including relay settings, protection schemes, and interlock systems for substations.
• Preparation of single line diagrams (SLDs), protection logic diagrams, metering layouts, and cable termination diagrams.
• Preparation of electrical interconnection diagrams, termination diagrams, cable schedules, and other supporting documentation for the installation and operation of secondary systems.
• Relay coordination studies (overcurrent, earth fault, motor protection, distance protection), including relay setting calculations and fault analysis.
• Power system studies, such as load flow analysis, short circuit studies, transient stability analysis, motor starting studies, and arc flash studies.
• Development of control and relay panel layouts, including general arrangement (GA) drawings, functional block diagrams, and bill of materials (BOMs).
• Design of SCADA communication schemes and system integration for protection systems, ensuring seamless interface between control and field devices.
• Review and verification of design documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE) and utility specifications.
• Support for commissioning and testing, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and site integration of secondary systems.
