Okay Place, Pay Isn't Competitive
Pros: The health insurance benefits are actually decent. You get good family coverage. It's a stable role in the IT services sector. Job security feels pretty solid.
Cons: But, the pay for a Software Engineer here is just low. You'd earn more at other companies. Annual raises are usually pretty small. Performance bonuses aren't that impressive either.
Advice to Management: Mphasis needs to re-evaluate compensation for tech roles. Better salaries for Software Engineers would really help attract and keep talent in Bangalore. It's a competitive market out there.
