Leadership is hit or miss, good WFH
Pros: I've appreciated the remote work setup, which is great for work-life balance as a Senior Software Engineer. The WFH policy is solid. You get to work on diverse digital transformation projects, which helps build a good portfolio.
Cons: Leadership here is pretty inconsistent across different projects. Some project managers are amazing, others are just not great at communication. It's tough when you're on client-facing IT services projects and don't get clear direction.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to standardize training and expectations for project leads. Improve communication channels, especially for remote teams on critical digital transformation initiatives. Consistent leadership makes a huge difference.

Job security is generally okay for tech roles
Pros: I've been here a while as a Software Engineer, and job security feels pretty stable within this big corporate environment. There's usually a steady flow of IT services projects. For those in tech roles, they usually try to re-skill or re-deploy you if your project wraps up, which is good.
Cons: Still, job security really depends on the client projects. If your account gets pulled, you might end up on the bench, which can be stressful. Bench time here isn't ideal, even with the hybrid work setup, because you're worried about your next assignment.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate more openly about upcoming project changes or potential bench time. Better transparency would reduce employee anxiety for those in IT services roles.

Decent Flexibility, But Project Dependent
Pros: Some projects offer pretty good WFH options. You can often arrange your hours, which is nice for personal errands. The hybrid model is definitely becoming more common for technical roles, which is a solid step up.
Cons: Other projects demand strict onsite attendance, even in Bengaluru. There's just not much consistency across the board. Getting approval for remote work can be tough for certain client engagements, which is a real bummer.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize work flexibility policies across all projects, especially for IT services roles. It would really help with morale and reduce team-to-team frustration. Make the hybrid model more accessible for everyone.
