Good remote setup, but growth is slow
Pros: I've been a Junior Software Engineer here for a couple years, and the pay is solid, especially for a fully remote role. Work-life balance is pretty decent, and the benefits are okay.
Cons: The big problem is career growth. There isn't a clear path for moving up, and it's tough to get into more senior software development roles. You just kinda get stuck after a while in this mid-sized tech company.
Advice to Management: Management should outline clear career progression tracks for software engineers. Provide more opportunities for skill development and internal promotions to prevent people from leaving for better opportunities.

Leadership needs to step it up
Pros: Some direct managers are really decent here. As a Software Engineer, I found my immediate team leaders supportive. It's a solid group of people to work with daily.
Cons: Upper leadership is a mixed bag, honestly. Their vision for this mid-sized tech company often felt unclear. Decisions can seem pretty random, which makes work tough for the engineering teams.
Advice to Management: Communicate more clearly about company goals. Show a real roadmap for products and projects. Support your engineering teams better with resources and direction.

Pay's Okay, Benefits Could Be Better for Tech
