Culture is hit or miss, good for remote
Pros: The compensation for a Security Engineer is decent, and the benefits package is solid. I also appreciated the full remote work option, which offers great flexibility.
Cons: The overall company culture felt a bit fragmented. It's tough to feel connected, especially for folks not in the main office. Communication often felt siloed, which isn't great for team unity in the cybersecurity industry.
Advice to Management: Invest more in connecting remote teams. A stronger company culture would help morale and collaboration. Try to bridge the gap between different departments.

Solid place, but culture could improve.
Pros: My team was great; we worked well together. I got to dive deep into network security policy management. The hybrid work model was also a huge plus. It allowed for good flexibility.
Cons: The company culture itself felt a little quiet. Social events were rare, even in the Boston office. It's not a super high-energy place. Sometimes it felt isolated as a Software Engineer.
Advice to Management: Try to inject more life into the company culture. Organize more team-building activities or social gatherings. It would really help with employee engagement.

Decent Balance for Software Engineers in Cybersecurity
Pros: Work-life balance here is generally good. As a Software Engineer, I found that standard 40-hour weeks are common. They offer decent remote work options, which is great for people not wanting to commute to the Boston office every day. It's solid for cybersecurity professionals.
Cons: Sometimes there's crunch, especially before major releases in our network security management products. It's not always super flexible if your team prefers a hybrid model. Some teams definitely push harder.
Advice to Management: Management should work on clearer project planning to avoid last-minute sprints. Keep promoting that remote-friendly culture for software engineering roles.
