Pros: The WFH setup is really solid, especially being remote from Chicago. I saved a ton on commuting. For a corporate IT services company, they do offer decent flexibility outside of crunch times.
Cons: Work-life balance here is tough during peak client project deadlines. As a Software Engineer, I often put in long hours, making it hard to disconnect. It's not always a consistent 40-hour week.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations and resource allocation, especially for software development teams. More focus on consistent workloads would help with employee burnout.

Pros: When you're on a good project, the 40-hour weeks are real. I enjoyed the hybrid model, giving me some WFH days. For IT consulting roles, there's a chance to learn a lot.
Cons: Be ready for crunch times on certain client projects; 60+ hours isn't uncommon. Sometimes, as an Associate Consultant, you just get slammed with work, impacting personal life.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize workload across client projects. Better resource allocation for IT services teams would help prevent burnout for people like Associate Consultants.

Pros: The base salary for my Software Engineer role was pretty competitive, especially working out of the Herndon, VA office. Annual bonuses were usually okay, nothing amazing but a nice little bump. It's a stable company if you're working on government contracts.
Cons: Health insurance premiums felt high compared to other big tech companies. I also felt like the 401k match wasn't as generous as it could be, especially for long-term employees. Raises were pretty minimal year-to-year unless you got a promotion.
Advice to Management: Review the benefits package, especially healthcare costs and 401k matching, to be more competitive in the IT services industry. Employees notice these things.
