Pros: The company culture here at Lonza, especially in Portsmouth, is genuinely supportive. There are good internal training programs for career development in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. It's a stable, large company.
Cons: Sometimes, the approval processes for new initiatives can feel a bit slow. This is pretty typical for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing company, but it can be frustrating. While career progression is there, it can feel a bit slower than in a fast-paced startup. Also, project deadlines definitely lead to busy periods.
