Pros: As a Software Engineer in the financial services sector, I appreciate having a set hybrid model. You get one day working from home each week, which is a solid perk. The Zurich office location is good for commuting.
Cons: Don't expect much beyond that single WFH day. True remote work isn't really an option here. It feels pretty inflexible for a big fintech company, especially compared to others in the tech space. The expectation is 4 days onsite, no exceptions.
Advice to Management: Trust employees more with remote options. A fixed hybrid model isn't always the best for employee retention, especially in financial services where talent expects modern work arrangements.
