Leadership Can Be a Real Challenge
Pros: The immediate team is usually awesome. I've learned a ton about customer engagement platforms and there's a good vibe among peers. Being remote from Portland, OR, offers great work flexibility.
Cons: Leadership communication isn't always great, especially for us remote employees. Decisions about the product roadmap often come down without much input from Product Managers. It's tough when you feel unheard by the top.
Advice to Management: Seriously listen to the Product and Engineering teams before making sweeping strategic changes. More transparency on 'why' decisions are made would help a lot, especially for a mid-sized tech company like ours.
