Solid Job Security if You Follow Rules
Pros: They're a big, stable company, so job security is pretty solid. As a Customer Service Representative, I always felt secure in my role as long as I performed. The pay and benefits for entry-level roles in the packaging distribution industry are actually decent here too.
Cons: The corporate environment can be super strict and feels a bit micromanaged. There isn't much work flexibility; nearly all roles, especially for Customer Service, are fully onsite. It's tough to get promoted without relocating.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more work-from-home options for certain roles to boost employee morale and flexibility. The strict rules can make people feel a bit stifled.

Uline offers steady work, solid job security
Pros: Job security here is pretty solid. It's a family-owned business, so they tend to be really stable, even during tough economic times. For us working onsite at the Pleasant Prairie, WI office, full-time employment feels secure.
Cons: While job security is good, career growth for entry-level roles can feel slow. There isn't always a clear path upwards, and promotions aren't super frequent. It can feel like you're stuck in your current role for a while.
Advice to Management: Create clearer pathways for career advancement, especially for long-term employees in customer service.

Decent place, but culture can be old school
Pros: The pay and benefits are actually pretty solid, especially for sales support roles. You get regular raises, and the health insurance is decent. It's a very stable company, so job security isn't something I worried about much. The facilities are always spotless, too.
Cons: The company culture is definitely old school. They really push for long hours, and it's almost entirely onsite work; there's just not much work flexibility. Management can be a little micromanaging, which makes it feel like they don't always trust us to just get the job done.
Advice to Management: Try to modernize the company culture a bit. Give employees more autonomy and trust. Consider offering more work from home options for eligible roles to improve work-life balance.
