Great culture, solid tech, good career path.
Pros: Working as a Software Engineer at Veeva Systems, supporting the life sciences industry, has been a great experience. I love the supportive team and the strong company culture. There are ample learning opportunities with cutting-edge cloud tech. The hybrid work setup is fantastic for work-life balance.
Cons: Project approval processes can sometimes feel a bit slow, which occasionally impacts our timelines. Career progression, while structured, isn't always as fast as I'd hoped.
Advice to Management: Streamline some of the internal approval processes to help teams move faster on projects. Also, explore ways to accelerate career progression paths for high-performing individual contributors.

Good culture if you fit, tough otherwise
Pros: People are really smart here, which is great for learning. They push for innovation in cloud software for the pharmaceutical industry. The remote work setup is pretty decent for WFH.
Cons: It can feel a bit cliquey sometimes. If you're not a super aggressive 'go-getter' type, you might feel overlooked, especially as an Associate Product Manager trying to make an impact. The company culture can be pretty intense.
Advice to Management: Try to foster a more inclusive environment for different working styles. Not everyone thrives on constant high-intensity and directness. A bit more empathy would go a long way.

Veeva's a pretty solid bet overall
Pros: Working in the Life Sciences industry at Veeva means pretty good job stability. They're a big player in pharmaceutical industry tech, so there's always work, especially for CRM Consultant roles. Remote work helps a lot with flexibility too.
Cons: Sometimes reorganizations happen, which can shake things up a bit and make you wonder. While the industry is stable, project cycles can still create some temporary uncertainty for remote CRM consultants. It's not a 'job for life' vibe necessarily.
Advice to Management: Communicate upcoming internal changes and reorganizations more clearly and well in advance to help reduce employee anxiety.
