Pros: I've really appreciated the excellent work flexibility as an Instructional Designer, with a fully remote setup that's great for work-life balance. My colleagues are supportive, and there are good learning opportunities in the education technology sector. The company culture is generally positive.
Cons: Career growth can feel a bit slow, and the promotion process isn't always transparent. Also, some approval processes for new projects can be a little drawn out, which sometimes affects project timelines. Internal communication could definitely be improved, but it's manageable.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer career pathways and streamlining inter-departmental communication to help projects move faster.

Pros: As a remote Nurse Educator, I appreciated the work-from-home setup. The flexibility was good for scheduling personal appointments. It's a solid place if you're looking for opportunities in healthcare education.
Cons: The work-life balance isn't great, especially with teaching multiple cohorts. You're often working more than standard 40-hour weeks. There's a lot of administrative burden on Nurse Educator roles too.
Advice to Management: Management needs to seriously look at instructor workload. More support for Nurse Educator roles would help prevent burnout and improve employee retention in vocational training programs.

Pros: It's a pretty stable gig in the vocational education industry. I liked the onsite role at the Sacramento, CA campus; my colleagues were great and supportive.
Cons: Honestly, the compensation for an Admissions Advisor isn't great. You won't find competitive pay here compared to other higher education institutions. Healthcare benefits are pretty basic, too, and don't expect much in terms of yearly raises.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at compensation and the benefits package. It's tough to retain good talent when the pay for educational roles isn't competitive with the market. Invest more in your people.
