Pros: Direct managers for Product Manager roles were pretty supportive. They pushed for our career growth in the fast-paced e-commerce space. Plus, the hybrid work model was a solid perk.
Cons: Upper leadership in the Boston, MA office often seemed out of touch. Strategic decisions came from above with little context, making it tough for our online pet supply teams. It felt like a real disconnect.
Advice to Management: Senior leadership needs to connect more with individual contributors. Trust your teams and provide more context for strategic decisions before implementing them across the board.

Pros: I really liked the flexibility of working remote. It's great to manage personal appointments easily. My WFH setup was solid from day one. You save so much time without a commute.
Cons: Peak seasons in the pet supply industry are brutal. You're constantly on calls, which makes work-life balance tough. It's easy to feel drained after long shifts. Sometimes, 40-hour weeks feel like a minimum, not a target.
Advice to Management: Please staff more people during the busy times. It would help prevent burnout for customer support roles. Our team needs more support.

What is Chewy's policy on remote work for customer service roles, especially for those living outside of Florida?
Chewy offers remote customer service positions, and while many are based in Florida, they do hire remote associates nationwide. The company often provides equipment and requires a stable internet connection for these roles. Check specific job postings for location requirements and eligibility.
