Program Manager
3.1

Leadership has good intentions, but execution varies
Pros: The working environment is pretty supportive, especially among colleagues. As a Program Manager, you get to work on interesting training programs for the insurance industry. It's a decent place to learn about insurance education.
Cons: Leadership sometimes lacks a clear, consistent vision for project direction. This often leads to last-minute changes that create extra work for us in the Jakarta office. There aren't many opportunities for career growth here.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate strategic changes more clearly and consistently. Better planning from leadership would really help teams avoid unnecessary rework. Consider developing clearer career paths for employees.

Program Coordinator

Decent place to start, but growth is slow
Pros: You get to learn a lot about the insurance industry from the ground up, especially managing training programs for junior actuaries. It's a stable job with pretty standard onsite work hours in the Jakarta office. Good for gaining foundational experience.
Cons: Career growth for a Program Coordinator felt really limited. There aren't many clear paths to move up internally, and promotions don't happen often even with extra effort. You kinda hit a ceiling quickly, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Create clearer development plans for employees. Invest in internal mobility within the insurance education sector to retain talent. A structured mentorship program could also really help.

Curriculum Developer

Decent for some, tough for others
Pros: As a Curriculum Developer, my day-to-day was usually predictable. The Jakarta office sometimes offered a decent hybrid work setup, which helped with my commute. It's a pretty stable corporate environment overall.
Cons: Project deadlines for new professional development in the insurance industry often meant long hours. It wasn't always a 40-hour week, especially when pushing out new courses. Work-life balance could really swing depending on the current workload.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project timelines to avoid constant crunch periods, especially for curriculum development teams. More consistent hybrid options would definitely be a plus for all employees.
