Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

• Demonstrated ability both to engage with stakeholders on strategic conversations, and to coach new managers on HR topics, especially in hybrid set-up

The part you will play

Reporting to the Senior Regional HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will be a key player who supports business growth and builds a unique and strong people-oriented culture in our Malaysia office. As an advocate of our group’s HR initiatives, you will enjoy the benefits and satisfaction of supporting a wide range of functional teams through their growth and drive their evolution as the business scales up. You will champion Intrepid’s corporate culture in your business partnering practices and delivery of HR initiatives through our people managers in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.

As a Junior People Business Partner, you will take charge of 

• Build trustful and credible working relationships with the business stakeholders through regular catch-ups, timely interactions, and proactive participation in on-going people and business discussions to deliver impact against priorities that will benefit both the business and employees
•  Provides direction and coaching on HR programs, policies and processes, including and not limited to performance management, compensation, talent retention, learning and development, and career development roadmap
•  Respond to employee relations issues, such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints
• Create and drive change management and thoughtful learning programs to further enhance organisational health
• Manage succession planning by administering accurate talent evaluation information through talent management.
• Foster a company culture of open, transparent communications, and high standards of behaviour and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
• Facilitate setup of Employee Engagement activities, including but not limited to Company and Country Townhalls, games nights, AMAs etc
• Manage staffing plans and manpower deployment in assigned business unit Handle onboarding, offboarding and transfer administration for all people movements (e.g. new hires, promotions, transfers, re-designation, resignations/terminations etc
• Support new joiners’ onboarding and offboarding process, including collating staff movement announcements, planning and executing teams orientation and other engagement programs such as office welcome tour, interns community program
• Generate and analyse HR reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness of people decisions

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• University graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to and demonstrated competence in all functional areas, and ideally some experience in high-growth companies and/or transformation projects
• Demonstrated ability both to engage with stakeholders on strategic conversations, and to coach new managers on HR topics, especially in hybrid set-up
• Strong service mentality and able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
• Solutions-focused, able to sort through information and develop concise and clear solutions quickly
• Familiar with the local employment regulations and HR practices in Malaysia
• Detail oriented with a logical and methodological approach to problem solving
• Comfortable to work in fast-paced environment with high degree of autonomy
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English

• Prepare employment letters, register new hires for medical insurance, and update internal HR systems. Maintain accurate employee records and personal files (P-files).
• Support background checks and visa applications for new hires.
• Handle HR-related billing and reporting across Asia countries.
• Manage HR operations across Asia region (including probation tracking, contract renewals, job changes, terminations and more)
• Work closely with the business leaders as a strategic partner on HR matters.
• First point of contact for employees & managers to provide support for individual needs on HR processes.
• Prepare monthly payroll instruction file with supporting documents as per local legislations.
• Take initiatives to improve overall effectiveness of HR processes.

GrowthDesk is looking for a commercially sharp, curious, and resourceful Enterprise Business Development Junior to help grow adoption of our FMCG solutions, SKALE and Pulse,  across leading brands in the region.

This is not a high-volume, transactional sales role. It is a strategic enterprise sales role for someone who enjoys opening doors, understanding business problems, and helping large FMCG brands solve them through thoughtful, consultative solutions.

You will work on some of the region’s most exciting FMCG accounts, engaging senior stakeholders across marketing, insights, innovation, and commercial teams. From first outreach to discovery, proposal development, and long-term account expansion, you will play a central role in how we build meaningful enterprise relationships.

This role is ideal for someone with early sales or business development experience who wants to step into a more consultative, high-value enterprise environment.
