Hybrid Work at Globaltize is a Mixed Bag
Pros: I do appreciate the option for WFH days, usually 2-3 days a week, which helps with my commute into the Seattle office. For software development roles, this hybrid setup can be decent for focus time.
Cons: The flexibility isn't always consistent across agile teams, and some managers push for more in-office time than others. It's tough to truly get things done sometimes when you're expected in for certain meetings that could easily be remote.
Advice to Management: Management needs to standardize the hybrid work policy and truly empower teams to decide what works best. Don't force unnecessary in-office days for software development staff.

Work-life balance is okay for Marketing team
Pros: Honestly, the work-life balance for Marketing Specialist roles here in the Austin office isn't terrible. You're generally expected to work 40 hours a week, which is good. Hybrid work option means I don't have to be onsite every day, which helps a lot with personal appointments; it's a solid perk.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines get crazy, especially for digital marketing campaigns. It can lead to some late nights, but it's not the norm. There's definitely pressure to be 'always on' for client communication, even outside of core business hours. That part needs work.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes to avoid last-minute crunch times. Also, set clearer boundaries around after-hours client contact for us marketing folks.
