Leadership at Barosi: Needs more clarity
Pros: My direct manager was super supportive. We had good project leads in our team. They really tried to make remote work effective for engineering roles, which was a huge plus.
Cons: Upper leadership often feels out of touch. Strategic direction for this tech company can shift really quickly without much explanation. This makes it tough for software engineers and project managers to plan.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer, more consistent communication from the top. Get closer to what's happening on the ground with engineering teams.

Job Security is Decent for a Growing Startup
Pros: For a mid-size e-commerce startup, Barosi actually offers decent job security. They don't seem to do sudden layoffs often. As a Marketing Coordinator, my day-to-day felt stable here.
Cons: Still, it's a startup in the consumer goods industry, so things can change fast. There isn't much long-term visibility beyond a year or so. You really have to stay adaptable, especially with remote work.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate future plans more clearly. It helps with employee retention and reduces anxiety.

Sales Associate

Pay is okay, but benefits need work
Pros: The base salary for a Sales Associate is decent for the Mumbai market. You get paid on time, which isn't always a given in the FMCG sector. They cover basic health insurance, which is fine.
Cons: Beyond the basics, there's not much. The bonus structure for sales roles isn't very clear or competitive. I've seen better provident fund matching at other companies. There's no real long-term incentive.
Advice to Management: Revisit the compensation packages, especially for sales roles. A clear bonus structure and better provident fund contributions would really help with retention in the competitive food and beverage industry.
