Culture's fine, but it's a big tech company now.
Pros: Most of the people are decent, especially on my engineering team. It's good for a hybrid setup, which helps with work-life balance. The SaaS industry experience looks solid on a resume.
Cons: The original startup energy is gone. It feels very corporate, and the culture can be inconsistent across departments. As a Software Engineer, sometimes I felt a bit siloed.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more cross-departmental connection. The remote culture needs a consistent touch, especially for big tech environments.

Remote Life is Fine, But Expect Busy Times
Pros: I've really enjoyed the remote work setup, living remote from Texas. It's been great for personal appointments and avoiding a commute. As a Software Engineer, the typical week is pretty standard, which is nice.
Cons: When there's a big product push for our enterprise software, things get hectic fast. You can easily work more than 40 hours during those times. It's a big tech company so there's always something urgent.
Advice to Management: Try to even out the workload spikes. It's tough when some weeks are chill and others are totally crazy for cloud platform development.

Decent WFH, but watch out for crunch.
Pros: I really liked the remote work setup for my Senior Software Engineer role. It's a huge plus for work-life balance. My team generally respected boundaries, so 40-hour weeks were common, which is great for a big tech company.
Cons: However, some project deadlines in cloud software meant late nights. It felt like certain product teams were always scrambling to get e-signature features out. It's not consistent across the whole company.
Advice to Management: Try to even out the workload across product teams. Better planning would help avoid those last-minute crunches. Invest more in project management for e-signature product launches.

Good WFH for Engineering, but expect crunch times
Pros: The work-from-home setup is genuinely good. For us in cloud software engineering, being remote from Texas means I don't have a daily commute. They're pretty flexible with core hours, which helps a lot with personal appointments. It's a big tech company so the infrastructure for WFH is solid.
Cons: While remote work is there, there are definitely periods of crunch. Project deadlines in e-signature solutions can be intense, forcing longer hours than ideal. It's not always 40-hour weeks, especially as a senior engineer. Sometimes the 'flexibility' just means you can choose when to work more.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scopes better to prevent engineers from constantly working overtime. More realistic timelines would improve overall work-life balance for software developers, even with the current remote flexibility.

Decent spot for SaaS sales, but culture needs work.
Pros: The remote work setup is really great, and I've found a lot of success working from my home office in Austin, TX. As an Account Executive, the eSignature platform is a strong product to sell. Management generally leaves you to do your job if you're hitting numbers.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit inconsistent now that it's such a big tech company. It's hard to feel truly connected sometimes, especially being remote. There's a lot of focus on quotas, which is typical for SaaS sales, but can feel relentless.
Advice to Management: Try to invest more in strengthening the company culture, especially for remote employees. Find ways to make people feel more connected beyond just virtual happy hours. Focus on fostering a sense of community instead of just hitting sales targets.

Leadership's a Mixed Bag Here
Pros: The remote work flexibility is really good for us as software engineers. We get decent pay and solid benefits, which is standard in the SaaS industry.
Cons: Leadership often makes decisions without enough input from the engineering teams. It's tough to get clear direction sometimes, which impacts project timelines for remote workers. There's a bit of a disconnect between upper management and individual contributors.
Advice to Management: Try to involve engineering leadership more in high-level product decisions. Better communication would really help us remote software engineers feel more connected and informed.

Okay if you like working remote, decent culture
Pros: I really liked the remote work setup; it's pretty solid for Software Engineers. They give you good equipment and the flexibility to work from home, which is a huge plus. The core e-signature product is stable and widely used in the SaaS industry.
Cons: Growth opportunities aren't great for my product development role; it felt pretty stagnant after a while. Some of the middle management decisions felt really disconnected from the remote teams. It's a big corporate environment now, so things move slower than you'd expect.
Advice to Management: Focus more on internal career development paths for individual contributors, especially for remote teams. Improve communication between senior leadership and engineering teams to avoid disconnects within the enterprise software group.

Okay Pay, Could Improve Sales Compensation
Pros: The health benefits are pretty solid for a big tech company; it's definitely a plus. Our 401k match is also decent, which helps for future planning in the competitive SaaS industry. Equity refreshers sometimes happen for Sales Representative roles.
Cons: Base pay for a Sales Representative in the San Francisco office felt a bit low, especially given the cost of living. The commission structure also changes pretty often, making it tough to consistently hit accelerators. Raises aren't super frequent, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the base salaries for Sales Representatives in high-cost-of-living areas like the San Francisco office. Stabilize the commission plans to provide more clarity and predictability for the sales teams.

Good Remote Setup, But Expectations Can Vary
Pros: I've been working remotely as an Account Manager for a while now. The flexibility for my WFH setup in Austin, Texas is really solid. It's great to manage my schedule.
Cons: Sometimes it's tough to get clear communication from leadership, especially for remote sales teams. There's also some pressure around digital agreements during peak sales cycles.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving communication channels for remote teams and ensure consistent expectations across the sales organization regarding digital transaction volume.

Career Growth Is a Mixed Bag Here
Pros: The remote work model is a huge plus, offering great flexibility. As a Product Manager, I got solid experience with enterprise SaaS solutions and the e-signature technology itself is impactful. Pay and benefits are generally competitive for a big tech company.
Cons: It's tough to move up internally, especially if you're an individual contributor. There aren't clear career ladders for product development roles. You often need to change teams or look externally for promotions. Feels very corporate.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create clearer, more visible career paths for individual contributors. Invest in developing internal talent instead of always hiring externally for senior roles. Focus on growth within existing teams.
