Pros: As a Software Developer here, I've had decent experience with some longer-term client projects. There's a core group of clients that provide pretty steady work in IT consulting. The remote work setup is solid and doesn't impact project flow much.
Cons: But honestly, job security is project-dependent. If a client contract ends, it can feel a little uncertain for roles like mine. There's not always a clear next step immediately. It's a mid-sized company, so resource allocation feels tighter sometimes.
Advice to Management: Focus on building more internal product work or securing longer-term commitments from clients to provide better job security for the development teams. Communicate clearer growth paths beyond project-to-project.
